25th Day in Romania/ Tuesday at the Clinic

Most of the girls were dressed in beautiful dresses when we arrived on Tuesday. They looked so girlie!!

Oh yeah, and so were the boys!! LOL Here is Petre in his girlie outfit.. bless his heart all the new volunteers were calling him a "she"!!! LOL

Ionela talking on the phone :-) "'Ello, Mama, Buna"

Coca giving Ionela a "poop" (Poop means kiss in Romanian)

Ionela saying hello to Ana-Maria

Mihaela with Becca a returning volunteer (Becca has a blog also: www.beccasbabies.blogspot.com if you want to get a different perspective on the Romanian service project).

Mihaela in her favorite swing... although she doesn't like it near as much without a baby in it!

Mihaela has a vicious cold with a very runny nose.. she hasn't been very happy :-(

Cristi-Daniel... he loves his outdoor naps!

Maria-Cleopatra visited with us outside

Maiastra loves the "airplane" swing!

Maiastra with aide Vallie

Ema-Elena trying on Ionela's hat

Sami enjoying the swing

Sami is working on holding his own spoon.

Maiastra playing in the sand

Ionela trying to figure out why Maiastra likes the sand!

Marius enjoying the great outdoors in the bouncy seat

Andreea and Ion fighting over a toy... as usual!

The unusual part is that Andreea won!! LOL

Coca loves to have her picture taken! LOL I am learning to hate my picture being taken!! Alina wasn't very happy to be still long enough for a shot either!

Alina and I having some snuggly time.

Alina's tiny foot in a huge colorful shoes!! Clown shoes!! :-)

Petre having tummy time!

Alexandra... what I wouldn't give to find out what is going on in this girl's head!! She has so much intelligence in those eyes.. I had to zoom to take these pictures of her. She hates being photographed!

Andrei

Cristi-Daniel

Cristi practicing his walking!

Daniela and I... what a doll baby!

Nicole with Maria-Cleopatra

Andrei with an aide... I'll have to add her name later!

I tried to show Alexandra her pictures on the camera to entice her to let me take more... she wanted my camera so I let her hold and video with my Flip videocamera. She seemed to enjoy videoing more than viewing what she videoed!

Near the end of the day we were informed that Paula was being taken to the Children's Hospital in Barlad. She has been crying quite a bit lately and is known to have chronic ear infections. A neurologist is also going to do some routine tests on her. Hopefully she will be back by the beginning of next week!
