Day 18 -- Our Celebration Dinner

The Premiere whatever Restaurant

Kim and Terri at the HP ... I have already forgotten the name of it .. something Premiere... Our options were dinner Thursday night or Friday night. Even though Kim and I were both horribly depressed due to Sammy and Ema-Elena's sudden departure we knew everyone else would be just as depressed the next night so we all picked Thursday. My day Thursday was HORRIBLE -- Ema was rudely taken away, at the restaurant I ordered lasagna -- they were out, so I picked something else -- it was horribly runny, Mihaela made me send it back LOL.. then for dessert I tried to order burnt oranges -- THEY WERE OUT! Definitely not my day!! But the Dessert Premiere, my second choice, was good. One funny thing that happened -- on the way back to the hotel Kim, Elizabeth, and I rode in the Porn Cab LOL This guy had sexy eyes on his cd display and almost naked women on his GPS lol.. Kim leaned over and whispered, "I'm taking a shower as soon as we get to the hotel." LOL It was hilarious... Elizabeth had to ride in the front seat with him.. Kim started to tell her to look at the GPS but I stopped her because GPS is GPS in any language! So we told Elizabeth to look at the pictures.. the guy probably knew what we were talking about but we didn't care.. it was a whole 5 minute ride! LOL

Day 18 -- Andreea and Evan had a photo session

Andreea and Evan had a mini-photo shoot so that Evan could have a new picture to put on her blog. The one above is my very favorite! Andreea is precious in her Piglet outfit. (BTW if anyone heading over soon needs ideas for what to buy they are truly in need of some big kid footed sleepers -- they seem to prefer fleece for winter I would say 2T, 3T, and a few 4T would be awesome!)

Day 18 -- Elizabeth's New BFF - baby Maddy

Elizabeth was such a trooper.. she made sure she visited the Isolation Room daily and fed the babies. She fell in love with sweet Madalin Alin... and I am so sorry that none of my pictures of her holding "Baby Maddy" ( as she called him) turned out better.. but i was a little leary of getting fussed at for having the camera in the isolation room LOL It was a sneak in and snap operation!!
Maddy is an alert baby.. he tracks, he cries when he is dirty or hungry.. hopefully he has been transferred to Iasi for his surgery because we all want him out of Isolation and in with the other kiddos ASAP!!

Day 18 & 19 -- Items Purchased with Donations

I cannot even begin to tell you all the items that were purchased for the clinic with donations brought from the US and Canada.. Evan, Elizabeth, and I all brought money and just spent it as needed. We didn't take pictures of the first few days of items purchased because we just didn't think about it :-( Sorry! Just know that if you were kind enough to send money.. the Clinic was most thankful for everything they received! Medicine was purchased, and in addition, Evan actually paid the year end bill at the pharmacy for some meds the clinic had already received. Diapers, heaps of wipes, shampoo, teething gel, the new TV and DVDs in Romanian, nipples for the bottles, kitchen items, toys, storage boxes for the toys, baby food, cereal, anything and everything we could think of!! :-) I know I am leaving things off! But again a heartfelt thank you -- from all of us and from Dr. Delia and the clinic staff!
