35th Day in Romania/Last Goodbyes

Last goodbyes... At 4pm most of the team went back to the hotel. Eve, Lila, and I stayed since it was our last day at the clinic. I had planned to go back to the clinic at the 7:30pm shift to say my goodbyes but at the last minutes decided that I would probably be better off emotionally to say them at 4pm alone instead of with the team. Eve and Lila went into the preschool room to work with the preschool teacher and children. I began my good bye visits. (Not sure what happened to the last picture I took of Petre in his crib... :-( I think he and Ana are the only missing pictures) Of course I started with Ema... I had a hard time leaving her crib.. and of course I ended with Ema -- going back to her after I had visited and prayed for all the other babies.

The lonely clinic road

A lovely pile of broken tile... the whole time I was in Romania I wanted to take some of these tiles and make a mosaic... never did it.. maybe next time...
