Elizabeth with Ema-Elena.. notice her beautiful white chef coat LOL.. Actually it is a nursing smock/jacket that the head nurse made everyone put on... they were so nervous about the inspectors! Evan and I had on scrubs so we were fine but everyone else had to borrow a jacket from the Clinic.. we all think it would be a good idea for all future volunteers to buy or borrow scrubs to wear while working at the clinic!
since the inspectors were coming I didn't want to get out my huge camera... wasn't sure how they would feel about knowing "outsiders" were taking pictures of their precious babes.. so these were the few pictures I took before the inspectors arrived... my video camera was small though!! LOL So I hid it in my pocket and took a few videos!
Sweet Maria -- who we later learned was denied a foster home due to her heart condition (I didn't even know she had a heart condition!!!) I still wonder if it doesn't have more to do with her possible Gypsy roots...
Ionela sleeping... I just love this outfit! LOL Any kid that had it on was a sure shot for my camera! LOL
Nicoletta with Andreea... Nicoletta and Coca were my favorite aides! They were always sooo good with the kids! Nicoletta would come and get Andreea and just spend time with her! I know this eases Evan's heartache!
