Ana - Maria in her special princess birthday crown!
After the inspectors finally left we were able to celebrate Ana-Maria's 7th birthday! Mihaela had stopped that morning and purchased a cake and candles. Ana was so sweet clapping her hands! I was so crazy/mental from the inspectors' visit that I forgot all about my video camera until it was almost too late! I caught the tail end of the staff singing Happy Birthday in Romanian and our lovely English version of Happy Birthday!

Sadly we learned that this was probably Ana-Maria's last birthday at the Clinic. She will be leaving to go to a "psychiatric ward" -- of course we all have horrible images in our heads of what this means but we will be praying for the best. If this means Ana will get specialized psychiatric care and therapy it will be a wonderful thing!!
