Happy birthday America! This day started out not so great for me... I had to visit an optometrist at the adult hospital. YUCK! Found out my itchy swollen eye was indeed pink eye :-( 3 different prescriptions...no work at the baby hospital...and no contacts for a week... WAH!!!
I just look a little tired here.. but when compared to my other eye below.. yikes!!

Love your blog! I am a former volunteer who is returning for my third trip at the end of July. Your blog has been extremely helpful in getting a handle on all of the recent changes. Thanks for all of the updates! Do you have any ideas about what types of donations are needed at this time? I always bring stuff but am a bit confused with all of the changes.
