Stephanie and Amy Stretch went into Bucharest with us
to explore the city before their final week in Barlad
Weirdly enough.. there is a Jaguar/Land Rover dealer in Bucharest, the capital of the poorest country in the EU... go figure!
The flight from Bucharest to Romania was uneventful. I had planned to go to at least the Anne Frank House while in Amsterdam but just wasn't feeling up to any more adventure by the time I actually arrived.

The hotel I stayed in... it truly was walking distance from the airport.
(http://www.citizenm.com go visit their website!! Even it is cool! LOL)
The room was only slightly bigger than my bedroom at home but I loved it! Very functional -- very Dutch... as you walk in the toliet is to your left (complete with a sliding semi-opaque door)... to your right is the shower with a clear glass sliding door. Just past the toilet is a mirror with make-up lights then the sink. There is a curtain you can pull for privacy before you arrive at the bedroom area. The bedroom area consists of a small chair (complete with a Molly doll!), 2 mini round bedside tables, bed, mood pad, and flat screen TV. That is the entire room.. I *loved* it!
bedroom area :-) nice HUGE bed with fabulous pillows and down comforter...
I could have slept here for a week!
Shot of the room from the bed... In my hurry to leave the next morning I forgot to take a picture of the "do not disturb" sign... it didn't say "dnd" it said: "Don't Come in -- There is someone naked in here!" LOL I loved it!
The coolest water bottle I have ever seen! The lid is a cup! Why is there nothing this functional in America!??
just one of the many cool sculptures/decorations in the airport--
It listed cities around the world and how long it took to get there.
And that is the end of this trip to Romania... thanks for reading!
God Bless!
