It is 10:20pm as I am lying in bed reflecting on my last day at the
Tutova Pediatric Recovery Clinic (they changed their name to drop 'failure to thrive'). I took over 300 pictures today but am not ready to post them just yet. My bags are packed. I have said my goodbyes to both the babies and my teammates. I'll be leaving the hotel at 6:30am in the morning to catch the 7:17 train to Bucharest. The 5 hour train ride should prove interesting and provide plenty of time to reflect before I post my final blogs.
One of my final stops at the clinic was Ema-Elena's bed to say a final prayer over her and give her one last kiss.... she gave me the greatest parting gift ever... eye contact and a HUGE smile.
La revedere Tutova... until we meet again...
Pa, my sweet Ema...

I'm praying for you, Terri. I know this has to be so hard. Have a safe trip home.
