32nd Day in Romania/ Tuesday at the Clinic

Tuesday was not a good day. I have been battling a cold since last Friday and Tuesday was the day it finally got the best of me. I have been waking up with a horrible sore throat and awful drainage. Tuesday morning when I got to the clinic I got overheated immediately and started coughing like crazy... I have been trying to determine if it is allergies or just the cold the babies have been passing around and I think it is definitely the summer cold. Luckily though I have 3 nurses and a 5 time returning volunteer on my team and they are taking care of me!! Thanks to Amy D and Becca for the sudafed (and cortisone cream for the bug bites!), Delta for the Benadryl spray for my HORRIBLE bug bites, and Susan for the benadryl pills! These guys are the bestest!

I took sudafed after lunch on Tuesday and went to bed for a short nap.. it ended up being a 4 hour nap. I missed the afternoon session at the clinic (thus the shortage of pictures). I needed to go into town so I went in for dinner with the team by the time we were finished with the 2 hour dinner and waiting on dessert I had a horrible headache and just wanted my bed! I took the benadryl and went straight to sleep. Wednesday morning I woke up feeling somewhat human :-)

So.. now about the clinic...

I promised my last team that I would get a mobile group picture since we had gotten a non-mobile group picture. HA! Easier said than done... those kids.. they just wouldn't sit still! The horrible lighting and red carpet didn't help things any! LOL

Then Mihaela watched Ionela getting her hair done.

Ionela was in shock that Mihaela was getting her hair fixed first. Ionela is honestly the only girl who shows an interest in having her hair put up. She taught Lea-Celine to like it. Now it looks like ALL the girls are gonna have beautiful hair!
