Saturday was a lazy day for me. I got up and had breakfast with my teammates, updated the blog, and then took a 4 hour nap. LOL With the temps in the 100s I never made the walk to the clinic. Around the hotel getting ready for the wedding was top priority. They were decorating and cleaning all day! In the end everything looked beautiful --- I must admit to stepping out on my balcony and screaming "DON'T DO IT BOGDAN!!!" in my new protest against marriage but alas, the wedding continued anyway LOL (I'm just kidding of course I didn't really do that!!)
Around midnight the dancing moved outside and I was able to get some shots from the balcony. It seemed as though everyone had a wonderful time and the party ended around 4 or 5am.
After a day of endless meetings (I am not sure why volunteers staying for more than 3 weeks have to go through ALL the meetings again) we finally went to the clinic to see the kiddos. Most babies seemed in a good mood... Ema-Elena was in a lot of pain and cried almost the whole time I was there... and Paula had a mini-breakdown at seeing 19 people coming into her home. Nineteen is about 9 too many on a team here!! The clinic is just not large enough to accommodate that many adults AND it is extremely overstimulating for the babies. :-(
