Emily --- I am so proud of you!!

As some of you know I have a 13 year old that I left home in the care of her granny and aunts this summer in order to come to Romania. This week hasn't been an easy one for Emily. Today she had to make a really difficulty decision and although we "talked" about it via email the final decision was hers. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of her for standing up for herself and what she believes and knows in her heart is right!!

Em -- you're making me cry here in Romania!! I wish I were home to give you the biggest hug imaginable!! I am so proud of you and so excited to see the adult you will become! Always remember that just because the crowd is going one way it is okay to make your own detour when you feel it is necessary!

I love you more than all the Skittles in the world!!!
