Day 5... one the road to Iasi

Oh my gosh! Catching the train to Iasi was an experience in and of itself! We left the clinic 30 minutes early in order to run to the hotel and pack our things because we thought the train left at 6pm... no, it was leaving at 4:55... Mihaela arrived to take us to the train station. Evan, Kim, and I took a taxi because Mihaela only had room for 3 in her car. As we are getting in the taxi Mihaela jumps out of her car freaking because she has left the tickets at home. We go on to the station to wait on her. She arrives just minutes after us -- it turns out the tickets were in her purse! So we hustle to the train platform and stand where we think car 7 is going to stop based on the info the ticket seller gave Mihaela... The train pulls in and uh-oh we are at the wrong end! there are heaps (Rosie's New Zealand word) of people everywhere trying to board the train. Mihaela says "Run!" LOL So here we are running to the other end of the train platform... people are climbing off the train others are trying to shove on... it was crazy! LOL Then the steps up to the train were funky and short LOL... We finally all got on and walked to our compartment and there were some young guys sitting there.. They got up and moved but kept eyeing us the entire 2 hour trip! UGH! LOL
