Behind me you can see one of the aides, Coca, giving manicures to one of the babies.. okay so she was just clipping nails but doesn't manicure sound so much better? Ana-Maria was with her and immediately came to sit on my lap. Ana-Maria has a stomach/psychological problem which causes her to throw up constantly. My job was to keep her distracted so she wouldn't make herself throw up. We clapped our hands and snapped our fingers and sang songs. At one point she hit my mouth to make me stop singing LOL... I guess that lets you know how wonderful my singing voice it! Eventually she laid her head on my leg and relaxed as I rubbed her back... no throwing up today! YIPEE!
